A study of condition and guideline for student affair administration in the perspective of administrators and staff in Department of Student Affairs, University of Phayao

Abstract

This study To study the state of administration of student affairs as perceived by administrators and personnel of Student Affairs Department. Phayao University To study the management of student affairs as perceived by the administrators and personnel of Student Affairs Department. The population in this study is: Management and personnel Student Affairs Officer Of 19 universities in Phayao. A total of 146 students were selected for the study. The data were collected by using questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were: Frequency, percentage, standard deviation

The study indicated that

1. A study of condition and guideline for student affair administration in the perspective of administrators and staff in Department of Student Affairs, University of Phayao When considering each aspect, the highest mean was the scholarship (μ = 3.50), followed by the Phayao University Volunteer Center (UPSR) (μ = 3.49) and the lowest mean Discipline and Student Development (μ = 3.40)

2. Management approach of student affairs as perceived by administrators and personnel of Student Affairs Department. Phayao University Overall, it should be handled properly. Provide publicity at various points. Should have established a network of operations. Training should be provided to increase the capacity of the personnel. It should be planned to clean the page.

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการบริหารงานกิจการนิสิตตามทัศนะของผู้บริหารและบุคลากรฝ่ายกิจการนิสิต มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา 2) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการบริหารงานกิจการนิสิต ตามทัศนะ ของผู้บริหารและบุคลากรฝ่ายกิจการนิสิต มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยาประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาวิจัยในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารและบุคลากร ผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านกิจการนิสิต ของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา จำนวน 19 หน่วยงาน ประกอบด้วยผู้บริหาร จำนวน 21 คน และบุคลากร ผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านกิจการนิสิต จำนวน 125 คน รวมทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 146 คน กำหนดขนาดประชากรโดยใช้การเจาะจง จำนวน 146 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า

1. สภาพการบริหารงานกิจการนิสิตตามทัศนะของผู้บริหารและบุคลากรฝ่ายกิจการนิสิต มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (µ = 3.46) เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือ ด้านงานทุนการศึกษา (µ = 3.50) รองลงมาคือ ด้านงานศูนย์ปฏิบัติการมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยาจิตอาสา (UPSR) (µ = 3.49) และด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำสุด คือ ด้านงานวินัยและพัฒนานิสิต (µ = 3.40)

2. แนวทางการบริหารงานกิจการนิสิต ตามทัศนะ ของผู้บริหารและบุคลากรฝ่ายกิจการนิสิต มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ในภาพรวมพบว่าควรที่จะบริหารจัดการในเรื่องเอกสารให้ถูกต้อง ให้มีการประชาสัมพันธ์ตามจุดต่างๆ ควรมีการสร้างเครือข่ายการปฏิบัติงาน และควรมีการจัดอบรมเพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพให้แก่บุคลากรผู้ปฏิบัติงาน พร้อมทั้งควรมีการวางแผนจัดกิจกรรมล่วงหน้า
