The Development of Additional Course Curriculum under Learning “Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Tradition” for Grade 10 Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the basic information of the learning area, to develop and validate the quality of the curriculum and to try out the developed additional course curriculum on “Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Tradition”. This study was conducted with three phases. Phase 1 was to study basic information of key informants and related documents, collect data from two local philosophers with local wisdom who participated in Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Tradition. Phase 1 was to develop and validate the quality of the local curriculum by three experts. After the suitability and consistency of the developed curriculum was validated, it was tried out as a pilot curriculum to conduct further feasibility study. Phase 3 was to try out the developed local curriculum with the sample of 40 grade 10 students at Damrongratsongkroh School in the first semester, academic year 2019. The sample was selected based on a clustering sampling. Experimental duration was 20 hours. This study used a quasi-experimental design. The results of this research indicated as follows: 1) By studying basic information, it could be concluded that this learning was community-based cooperative learning and communication of what learned. Learners could enhance their decision-making, communication and knowledge transmission. They also could improve their consciousness and appreciation in Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Tradition from studying the developed curriculum with 0.5 credits. Duration of study was 20 hours. 2) Additional Course Curriculum under Learning “Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Tradition” for grade 10 students consisted of 8 components, namely Principles and rationale, Purposes, Learning area, Additional course description, Course structure, Guidelines for organizing learning activities, Guidelines for using media and learning resources, Guidelines for measurement and evaluation, and Course materials. In addition, the learning area of this curriculum consisted of 4 learning units, namely 1) the origin of Chiang Rai city, 2) Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Ceremony 3) Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Celebration, 4) the creation of local tradition conservation consciousness. By considering community-based cooperative learning and communication of what learned and validating the quality of local curriculum on “Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Tradition” for grade 10 students, it was found that overall suitability of the developed curriculum was at the highest level and the curriculum was consistent with the components of local curriculum. The developed curriculum could be practically used for instructional management. 3) The results of try-out indicated that after taught with the developed curriculum, the sample’s knowledge about Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Tradition was higher than before with a statistical significance level of .05. Overall awareness of Wai Sa Phaya Mengrai Tradition was at the highest level.

การพัฒนาหลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติม เรื่อง ประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 การวิจัยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาข้อมูลพื้นฐานในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้ เพื่อพัฒนาและตรวจสอบคุณภาพของหลักสูตรและเพื่อทดลองใช้หลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติม เรื่อง ประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย ดำเนินการวิจัยโดยใช้กระบวนการวิจัยและพัฒนา 3 ขั้นตอน ขั้นตอนที่ 1 การศึกษาข้อมูลพื้นฐาน กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูล คือ การศึกษาเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องและปราชญ์ชาวบ้าน ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นที่มีความรู้และได้มีส่วนร่วมในประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย จำนวน 1 คน ขั้นตอนที่ 2 การสร้างและตรวจสอบคุณภาพหลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 3 คน ตรวจความเหมาะสมและความสอดคล้องของหลักสูตร และนำไปทดลองใช้นำร่องเพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ ขั้นตอนที่ 3 การทดลองใช้หลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติม โดยทดลองกับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนดำรงราษฎร์สงเคราะห์ ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2562 จำนวน 40 คน ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม ใช้ระยะเวลาในการทดลอง 20 ชั่วโมง โดยใช้แบบแผนการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) จากการศึกษาหาข้อมูลพื้นฐาน สรุปได้ว่าครั้งนี้เป็นการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชน กระบวนการคิดวิเคราะห์สื่อสารสิ่งที่เรียนรู้ มีความสามารถในการตัดสินใจ สื่อสารสิ่งที่เรียนรู้และนำความรู้ไปใช้ในเผยแพร่ มีจิตสำนึก เห็นคุณค่า หวงแหนในประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย ในหลักสูตรที่ผู้ศึกษาได้พัฒนาขึ้น โดยมีการจัดการเรียนรู้จำนวน 20 ชั่วโมง จำนวน 0.5 หน่วยกิต ในภาคการศึกษาที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2562 2) หลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมเรื่อง ประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ประกอบด้วย 8 องค์ประกอบ คือ หลักการและเหตุผล จุดมุ่งหมายของหลักสูตร สาระการเรียนรู้ของหลักสูตร คำอธิบายรายวิชาเพิ่มเติม โครงสร้างรายวิชา แนวทางการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ แนวทางการใช้สื่อและแหล่งเรียนรู้ แนวทางการวัดและประเมินผล และเอกสารประกอบหลักสูตร และสาระการเรียนรู้ของหลักสูตร ประกอบด้วย 4 หน่วยการเรียนรู้ ได้แก่ 1) ต้นกำเนิดเมืองเชียงราย 2) พิธีกรรมประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย 3) การสมโภชประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย และ 4) การสร้างจิตสำนึกอนุรักษ์ประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย กระบวนการเรียนรู้ใช้กระบวนการการมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชน การตรวจสอบคุณภาพหลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมเรื่อง ประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 พบว่า ในภาพรวมมีความเหมาะสมในระดับมากที่สุด และมีสอดคล้องขององค์ประกอบของหลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมทุกข้อ สามารถนำไปใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนได้ 3) ผลการทดลองใช้หลักสูตรสาระการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมพบว่า นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังรายหลังเรียนมีค่าสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และมีความตระหนักถึงคุณค่าการอนุรักษ์ประเพณีไหว้สาพญามังราย ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
