Development of electronic learning kits on professional Chinese reading for Vocational Certificate (Voc. Cert.)

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an electronic learning package on Chinese reading for vocational students based on the 80/80 efficiency criterion, 2) examine the development of Chinese reading skills by comparing pre-test and post-test scores, 3) study the improvement in Chinese learning achievement after using the electronic learning package, and 4) investigate students’ satisfaction with the electronic learning package. The sample group consisted of 20 students in the Electrical Power Department, selected through cluster sampling using the classroom as a unit. The research instruments included the electronic learning package, an achievement test, reading exercises, and a student satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed using t-test, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that: 1) the electronic learning package achieved an efficiency of E1/E2 = 83.86/85.16, meeting the 80/80 criterion; 2) the students’ post-test scores on Chinese reading were significantly higher than their pre-test scores at the .05 level; 3) the learning achievement of students significantly increased after using the package at the .05 level; and 4) students reported the highest level of satisfaction with the electronic learning package.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพของชุดการเรียนรู้อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เรื่องการอ่านภาษาจีนในงานอาชีพ สำหรับนักเรียนระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ ตามเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน 80/80 2) เพื่อศึกษาการพัฒนา การอ่านภาษาจีน โดยเปรียบเทียบคะแนนก่อนและหลังเรียน 3) เพื่อศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนภาษาจีนที่สูงขึ้นหลังใช้ ชุดการเรียนรู้อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และ 4) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนต่อชุดการเรียนรู้ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนแผนกวิชาไฟฟ้ากำลัง จำนวน 20 คน จากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งกลุ่มโดยใช้ห้องเรียน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ชุดการเรียนรู้อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ แบบฝึกหัดการอ่าน และแบบประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้เรียน สถิติที่ใช้ ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าที ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ชุดการเรียนรู้อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ มีค่าประสิทธิภาพ E1/E2 เท่ากับ 83.86/85.16 ตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 2) คะแนนการอ่านภาษาจีนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3) ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนหลังใช้ชุดการเรียนรู้สูงขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ 4) นักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อชุดการเรียนรู้อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ ในระดับมากที่สุด
