Academic leadership of Teachers in Schools for the Deaf in Central Region under the Special Education Bureau

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to investigate and compare academic leadership of teachers in schools for the Deaf in Central Region under the Special Education Bureau in the aspects of setting the school’s vision and mission, curriculum and instructional management, enhancing a positive learning environment, instructional supervision, and curriculum improvement development, in overall and each aspect, classified by gender, work experience, and education level. The sample was 163 teachers in schools for the Deaf in Central Region under the Special Education Bureau in the academic year of 2024. The instrument used was a five rating scale questionnaire with the reliability of .98. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, a t-test, One Way Analysis of Variance and Scheffe's method. The results of the study were as follows. 1) Academic leadership of teachers in schools for the Deaf in the Central Region under the Special Education Bureau in overall and each aspect was at a high level. 2) There was no significant difference between male and female teachers in academic leadership in overall. When considered in each aspect, it was found that there was a significant difference in the aspects of setting the school’s vision and mission and enhancing a positive learning environment at the level of .05. However, there was no significant differences in the aspects of curriculum and instructional management, instructional supervision and curriculum improvement development. 3) There was a significant difference between the teachers with different education level in academic leadership in overall and each aspect at the level of .05. 4) There was a significant difference among the teachers with different work experience in academic leadership in overall and each aspect at the level of .05.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบภาวะผู้นำทางวิชาการของครูโรงเรียน โสตศึกษา ภาคกลาง สังกัดสำนักบริหารงานการศึกษาพิเศษ ด้านการกำหนดวิสัยทัศน์ และพันธกิจของโรงเรียน ด้านการบริหารจัดการหลักสูตรและการเรียนการสอน ด้านการส่งเสริมบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้เชิงบวก ด้านการนิเทศการเรียนการสอน และด้านการปรับปรุงและพัฒนาหลักสูตร โดยรวมและในแต่ละด้าน จำแนกตามเพศ ประสบการณ์ในการทำงาน และระดับการศึกษา กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ครู โรงเรียนโสตศึกษา ภาคกลาง สำนักบริหารงานการศึกษาพิเศษ ปีการศึกษา 2567 จำนวน 163 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามแบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นของเครื่องมือทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ .98 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าความเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบที การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว การทดสอบค่าเฉลี่ยเป็นรายคู่โดยวิธีของเชฟเฟ่ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) ภาวะผู้นำทางวิชาการของครูโรงเรียนโสตศึกษา ภาคกลาง สังกัดสำนักบริหารงานการศึกษา โดยรวมและในแต่ละด้านอยู่ในระดับมาก 2) ครูเพศชายและเพศหญิงมีภาวะผู้นำทางวิชาการ โดยรวม ไม่แตกต่างกัน เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ด้านการกำหนดวิสัยทัศน์ และพันธกิจของโรงเรียน และด้านการส่งเสริมบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้เชิงบวก แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ส่วนด้านอื่น ๆ ไม่พบความแตกต่าง 3) ครูที่มีระดับการศึกษาแตกต่างกัน มีภาวะผู้นำทางวิชาการโดยรวมและในแต่ละด้าน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 4) ครูที่มีประสบการณ์ในการทำงานแตกต่างกันมีภาวะผู้นำทางวิชาการโดยรวมและในแต่ละด้าน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
