งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศคัดกรองเบื้องต้นก่อนหมอวินิจฉัย และติดตามพัฒนาการของนักเรียน ได้สะดวกรวดเร็วขึ้น 2) ศึกษาพัฒนาระบบคลังข้อมูล (Data Warehouse) เพื่อการวิเคราะห์ศักยภาพของนักเรียนที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเรียนรู้ ทักษะด้านการฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และการเขียน กลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ นักเรียนที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเรียนรู้ ทักษะด้านการฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และการเขียน ของนักเรียน สังกัด สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษา พะเยา เขต 1 และ 2

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การพัฒนาระบบคลังข้อมูลบนระบบคัดกรองเด็กที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเรียนรู้ เป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ที่วางไว้ โดยแบบจำลองยังสามารถแสดงผลของข้อมูลได้ดี เนื่องจากข้อมูลมีการผสมผสานข้อมูลการทดสอบและข้อมูลภายนอกเข้าสู่คลังข้อมูลแบบใหม่ ซึ่งสามารถนำมาวิเคราะห์ หาความสัมพันธ์ของข้อมูลเพื่อใช้ในการประเมินประสิทธิภาพเพื่อการวิเคราะห์ศักยภาพของนักเรียนที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเรียนรู้ ทักษะด้านการฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และการเขียน อีกทั้งการหาแนวทางในการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศคัดกรองเบื้องต้นก่อนหมอวินิจฉัย และติดตามพัฒนาการของนักเรียน โดยพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศคัดกรองเบื้องต้นให้เกิดความทันสมัยและมีการนำเครื่องมือสมัยใหม่เข้ามาร่วมใช้งาน และการวิเคราะห์ศักยภาพของนักเรียนที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเรียนรู้ ทักษะด้านการฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และการเขียน ตามมิติการวิเคราะห์ที่ได้ออกแบบไว้ เพื่อช่วยวิเคราะห์และแสดงผลข้อมูลในมุมมองต่าง ๆ และการออกแบบคลังข้อมูล แล้วทำการคัดเลือก กรอง และแปลงข้อมูล แล้วนำข้อมูลเข้าสู่คลังข้อมูล จากกระบวนการที่ได้ดำเนินการทำให้ได้รายงานข้อมูลนักเรียนที่รวดเร็วและตรงกับความต้องการของผู้บริหาร โดยจะสรุปผลออกมาเป็นข้อมูล แยกตามปีการศึกษา ระดับชั้น โรงเรียน เขตพื้นที่การศึกษา เพศ อายุ และประเภทการคัดกรอง
