A STUDY OF ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT IN CHIANGKHAM SCHOOL CLUSTER 2 UNDERTHE PHAYAO PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICEAREA OFFICE 2

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to study the academic affairs administration of foreign language department in Chiangkham School cluster 2 under the Phayao primary educational service area office 2 and to compare the academic affairs administration of foreign language department in Chiangkham School cluster 2 under the Phayao primary educational service area office 2 classified by educational background, status and working experience and. The samples were 144 including the school administrators, heads of English department and teachers. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and One Way ANOVA. The independent study found that the state of academic affairs administration of foreign language department in Chiangkham School cluster 2 under the Phayao primary educational service area office 2 totally of sides was at the high level. The results were respectively shown from the highest to the lowest as follows; learning management, secondary media application and development, measurement and evaluation, then curriculum and curriculum application and finally educational supervision. The comparative results of the academic affairs administration of foreign language department in Chiangkham School cluster 2 under the Phayao primary educational service area office 2 classified by educational background and status shown that curriculum and curriculum application, learning management, media application and development, measure and evaluation and educational supervision was not different in all sides. When considering each aspect, it was found that the level of working experience between 5 – 10 years and over 10 years was different. On the other hand, curriculum and curriculum application, media application and development, measurement and evaluation and educational supervision was not different. The main problems and the suggestions of academic affairs administration of foreign language department in Chiangkham School cluster 2 is over workloads of teachers, they cannot teach effectively.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการบริหารงานวิชาการของกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบการบริหารงานวิชาการของกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศในสถานศึกษา กลุ่มโรงเรียนเชียงคำ 2 โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้บริหารโรงเรียน และหัวหน้ากลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศและครูผู้สอน ในสถานศึกษากลุ่มโรงเรียนเชียงคำ 2 จำนวน 144 คน เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามแบบตรวจคำตอบ และแบบปลายเปิด และสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ใช้สถิติ F-test ในประสบการณ์ เมื่อพบความแตกต่างกันทำการเปรียบเทียบเป็นรายคู่ด้วยวิธีการของเชฟเฟ่ (Scheffe’s Method) ผลการวิจัย พบว่า สภาพการบริหารงานวิชาการของกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศในสถานศึกษา กลุ่มโรงเรียนเชียงคำ 2 โดยภาพรวมทุกด้าน อยู่ในระดับมาก โดยระดับมากที่สุดคือด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน รองลงมา คือ ด้านการพัฒนาสื่อ และการนำเอาไปใช้ ด้านการวัดผลและประเมินผล ด้านหลักสูตรและการนำหลักสูตรไปใช้ และน้อยที่สุด คือ ด้านการนิเทศการศึกษา ตามลำดับ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบการบริหารงานวิชาการของกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศจำแนกตามระดับการศึกษา และสถานภาพในภาพรวมไม่แตกต่างกัน แต่เมื่อจำแนกตามประสบการณ์ และพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่า ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน ผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์ 5-10 ปี และผู้มีประสบการณ์ 10 ปี ขึ้นไป มีความคิดเห็นที่แตกต่างกัน ส่วนด้านหลักสูตร และการนำหลักสูตรไปใช้ ด้านการพัฒนาสื่อ และการนำเอาไปใช้ ด้านการวัดผลและประเมินผล และด้านการนิเทศการศึกษาไม่แตกต่างกัน ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะของการบริหารงานวิชาการของกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศในสถานศึกษา กลุ่มโรงเรียนเชียงคำ 2 ที่พบมากที่สุด คือ ภาระงานของครูมีมาก จึงส่งผลให้การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนไม่มีประสิทธิภาพ
